How to Use Android Wallpaper to Save Power: 5 Steps

The "wallpaper" background on your Android can use a lot of power. By switching it to a wallpaper specifically designed to be efficient, you can add battery life to your phone.
STEPS

OPEN THE PLAY STORE APP AND SEARCH FOR "SAVE POWER WALLPAPER." Select the "No Wallpaper" option with the green lightening bolt.

HIT THE BLUE "INSTALL" BUTTON IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER.

CLICK "ACCEPT & DOWNLOAD" TO INSTALL THE SPECIAL WALLPAPER ONTO YOUR PHONE.

PUSH THE "MENU" BUTTON ON YOUR PHONE BACK ON YOUR HOMESCREEN. Select "wallpaper."

CLICK ON THE "NO WALLPAPER" OPTION THAT HAS THE CIRCULAR BLUE ARROW GOING AROUND AN ANDROID PICTURE. Set this wallpaper to save power.

TIPS
Switching to no wallpaper is particularly a good idea if you are currently running live wallpaper, since this drains a large amount of power.
